What I love, part 1 of many.

-chubby girls with lisps & curly hair

-girls who tuck their t shirts into their shorts, at the gym, like it matters

– girls who are beautiful  but just don’t know it (by beautiful  I mean in the way they act)
-Watching Downton Abbey in my underwear and cuddling on a Sunday

-slow quiet sundays in bed

– Spring is so close! Summer is so close! The beach is so close!

– sharing the company of chosen family.

– a clean house.

-sleeping with the cats when I’m lonely.

-churros.  Which is really fried doe dipped in hot chocolate.

-exaggerating matters

– when you kiss and your noses touch like a god damn Eskimo

– red heads, they get me every time.

-saying “What the actual fuck”

– cigarettes, in the house, after sex, in the tub, while studying (its so bad for you. I know it’s so bad)

-knowing you’re good at something & other people knowing you’re good at it too

– running until your breath catches in your throat.

– late night drives home.

BACK from the Not dead…

It seems just like all your favorite shows (aka Walking Dead) I took an unexpected long hiatus.  You know: AWOL?  Sorry about that folks.  I actually just returned from a most refreshing trip to visit a childhood friend of mine.  She lives in Spain! By trip, I don’t mean skyping and speaking broken Spanish and pretending to be in another country.  I mean putting all my liquids in less than 3 oz bottles and getting my passport (no it does not have any lipstick stains on it YET) together!  It was a long needed break from the daily grind.

In any case, I’d be happy to post some photos of a few landmarks I was lucky to have the pleasure of meeting! Since my trip, I’ve been thinking a lot about health!  I’ve been trying to get more into the habit of running and doing some yoga.  I’m no fitness buff and enjoy a doughnut one several occasions!  More, than just the exercise though a few lifestyle modifications.  You might think I’m cookoo but I’ve decided to try not washing my hair with commercial shampoo for a while.  An experiment if you will.  Just look it up on the world wide interwebs! Shampoo chemicals (like everything else!) are BAD for you!  But think, do you want to be cleaning your hair with the same chemicals you clean your garage with, in the dead of winter? I certainly don’t. Natural remedies, are becoming my obsession.  So if you’re down to try it I heard baking soda is good for cleaning hair!  one part baking soda 3 parts water in a bottle or a mason jar! For conditioner you can use apple cider vinegar! One part apple cider vinegar and three parts water.  I’ll let you know how this experience goes!    I’ve switched to using deodorant that doesn’t have harmful chemicals in it.  This might also mean it doesn’t work!!! Or you have to keep putting it on!  😉 I’ll find out!

I’m also going to try this for my face:

Maybe it works and maybe I’ll hate it.  In the end shit falls out and it gets grey but I figure why not give this a try and see if it’s any different?
